Closer than ever

Netanyahu ‘determined to attack Iran’ before US elections, claims Israel’s Channel 10 TV reporter adds: ‘I doubt Obama could say anything that would convince PM to delay a possible attack’

This was headlines in "The Times of Israel's newspaper yesterday. It seems as though all eyes are on the middle east, all but the eyes of Christians in the west. We are too busy "living green", eating or not eating Chik-fil-a, or just plain asleep. Today, Fox News reports that Iran has just unveiled their upgraded short range missile

Obama's response to Syria over this latest news?
He warned President Bashar al-Assad and "other players on the ground" about the use or movement of such weapons. He said: "A red line for us is [if] we see a whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around, or being utilised. That would change my calculus

In a quick response Russia, China warn West not to intervene in Syria, following U.S. threat

Those are all key players in prophecy. Are you watching?

*hand upon forehead* It seems every day now, that I am asked to prove why I believe the way I do. I select my words, ever so carefully, as to not push or offend. I know that one day, it won't matter if I offend, but that day has not come yet. This is so outside of my comfort box. I am just the damn shy girl that smiles a lot and has the big heart that often gets broken. This is overwhelming for me..but I know that this is task IS for me. Lord help me, cause I truly feel like Moses. I know all of the words, but I don't know how to speak.

My silence explained

All one has to do is read the headlines, turn on the t.v. to see our country is at war with itself. We are fighting against our brothers, and even into our own households. The mass that wants us to be silent and accept their sin, become more and more nasty with each day and they are doing exactly as they say we are...hating. What should be our response as Christians? Do you yell just as loudly back? All in the name of Jesus? Do we defend and preach what they already know...cause they do, they've heard it said many times before. I used to be one that felt I always had to get my point across...however this battle is not about what I think, or even me proving that Jesus is against the practices of homosexuality. This is a battle that must be dealt with on a spiritual plane.
Romans 1 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Those are key verses that I've bolded...They (homosexuals) know what is right cause your spirit gives warning when you are on the wrong path. However, like God hardened Pharaoh, so He gives then up to the ways in which they are practicing. You will not find acceptance or love in their hearts towards what you believe. All of your words will be like "pearls cast before swine." So then what is our response as we just can't sit by, watching them trample the name of Jesus? It is by much prayer..and the showing of love. When asked about your stance on gay marriage, do not hesitate to give your opinion. However, do what they do not expect...love them. It truly is like heaping coals upon their heads. I am just concern by all of the name calling, the heated arguments, it will only get worse. We will win this war one person at a time. Right Satan is attacking by using us to sling mud and give our Lord a bad name...We are not to be as Westboro Church. Corrie ten Boom is a great example of how we should respond. God honored her greatly. Have a good day! I am off to work. Just wanted to write you all!
