Proof of God's hand in Israel

The Dispora

'The movement, migration, or scattering of people away from an established or ancestral homeland.

Examples:  The Jews from the Middle East, the African Tans-Atlantic slave trade and the southern Chinese during the coolie slave trade.

The first mention of a diaspora created as a result of exile is found in the Septuagint in the phrase "esē diaspora en pasais basileias tēs gēs" translated to mean "thou shalt be a dispersion in all kingdoms of the earth".

First, let me just state that I take my Bible most literally.  One just has to have a spirit that longs to decipher the puzzle that is right there in print.

Our salvation begins as always, in the Old Testament.  And while many will argue what laws are relevant today, let's just set that aside for a moment and show proof that He is and always is relevant.

Jesus said in Luke speaking of His return: 21: 7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.

10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.

13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:

15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.

17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.

18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.

19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Right, so we all know the signs...even the unbelievers know what is predicted.

However this is the next clue:
29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;

30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.

31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

In Joel we see that Israel is liken to a fig tree:

Joel 2:21-25

King James Version (KJV)

21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things.

22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.

23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.

25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

Now Israel had not been a nation since the fall of when did that time start and who was the generation that would see His return?

I believe we can find the answer given to the Old Testament Prophet: Ezekiel:

Ezekiel 4:4-6

"Then God said to Ezekiel,
'Now lie on your left side for 390 days
to show Israel will be punished for 390 years
by captivity and doom.
Each day you lie there represents
a year of punishment ahead for Israel.

Afterwards, turn over and lay on your right side
for 40 days, to signify the years of Judah's punishment.
Each day will represent one year . . .'"

390  days    Judgment against the 10 northern tribes 'Israel'
+    40  days    Judgment against the 2 southern tribes 'Judah'
=  430  years   Judgment against the nation of Israel

In 606 B.C. Israel (Judah) was taken into captivity by Babylon for exactly 70 years ...

430  years of judgment determined against nation Israel
  -    70   years fulfilled during the Babylonian captivity
=  360  years remaining in judgment against the nation of Israel

What were the remaining 360 years?

Well, those who have been following my blogs on the judgement of America, know that I quote Lev 26 quite often.

This is where we find the 7x more if you don't obey rule...

"And after all this, if you do not obey Me,
then I (God) will punish you seven times more for your sins."
(Leviticus 26:18)

"Then, if you walk contrary to Me,
and are not willing to obey Me,
I (God) will bring on you seven times more plagues,
according to your sins."
(Leviticus 26:21)

 "And after all this,
if you do not obey Me,
but walk contrary to Me,
then I (God) also will walk contrary to you in fury;
and I, even I will chastise you seven times for your sins.:
(Leviticus 26:27-28)

"I (God) will scatter you among the nations
and draw a sword after you;
your Land shall be desolate
and your cities waste."
(Leviticus 26:33)

The Dispora...or the scattering of nations..hmmm

Let's fit this into the equation
360   Remaining years of judgment
 x    7  warning if they didn't listen
=  2,520   Years of judgment remained against nation Israel

Here is the kicker... The Bible uses 360 days in a prophectic year, not the calendar we use today.

2,520  years
x   360  days
=  907,200  days of judgment remained against nation Israel after the Babylonian captivity

Now, to convert the 907,200 days found in this prophecy into our 365.25 day solar (Julian) years (the .25 adjusts for leap years) . . .
907,200 days  ÷  365.25  days  =   2,483.78 years of God's judgment remained

606  B.C         Israel taken into Babylonian captivity
-     70  Years      for 70 years
=   536   B.C.        End of first 70 years of judgment
+ 2483   Years      Now add the 2,483 years remaining in this judgment
+       1   Year        Add 1 year because there is no "0" B.C. or A.D.
= 1948   AD!         End of judgment against nation Israel

When did Israel become a country?
May 14, 1948

I took it one step further and searched out "the budding of the fig tree"  Doesn't that mean that it expanded, such as gaining Jersusalem?

I found this!

The "Servitude of the Nation"?

The 70 years of servitude, to be consistent, should be reckoned as 25,200 days, or two days short of 69 years on our Roman calendar. The first siege of Nebuchadnezzar, in 606 B.C., began the "Servitude of the Nation," which lasted until the summer of 537 B.C. If July 23, 537 B.C. was the time of their release:

-537y 7m 23d
+1 (no year "0")
2483y 9m 21d

1948 5 14

On May 14, 1948, the nation Israel was reestablished on the world scene. A remarkable coincidence. Isaiah appears to have highlighted this very restoration:

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. -Isaiah 11:11, 12

Yet, there is another alternative application of the 2520 years:

The "Desolations of Jerusalem"?

The third siege of Nebuchad-nezzar, in 587 B.C., began the "Desolations of Jerusalem," which lasted until 518 B.C. If August 16, 518 B.C. was the completion of the walls of Jerusalem, then:

-518y 8m 16d
+1 (no year "0")
2483y 9m 21d

1967 6 7

On June 7, 1967, as a result of the Six Day War, the Biblical city of Old Jerusalem was restored to the nation. Another remarkable coincidence! (budding of the fig tree)

Either way, both dates are in THIS generations time!!!
Does this mean we will know that exact time that Jesus will return?

No..  but we do know when we should start looking up.

Now is not time to bury your heads in the sand.
