Reverse Psycology?

I mean no disrespect to anyone that is doing the usemeinstead. I get what you are trying to say, only I can see this going horribly wrong. Yes, it was wrong for them to use mugshots for target practice. However, now with all the clergy placing marks on their foreheads, you have simply given others permission to use you as targets.

And I quote from the Post “It’s such a desensitization thing, that if you start aiming at young black men, and told to put a bullet in them, you become desensitized,” Gonnerman told the Post. “Maybe, to change the picture, it’s you know what, dare ya, shoot a clergy person.”

I know that I get teased a lot for asking people to look at the bigger picture, but really must. Reverse Psychology is not dead, and neither is the use of propaganda to sway society's thinking.
You don't change people's thinking with radical notions, you do it little by little. In the media, symbols on clothing, and wonderful slogans that children can remember.

That is what they did to the Jews.

This is America, a place where one would never think to use clergy as targets, so how do we go from making something unacceptable to acceptable? I can already hear people crying "How did this happen?", when people start actually persecuting people of faith.

That's just my two cents on this matter.
